On Wednesday, the Senate passed a resolution reducing the registration fee of UTME to #2,500 which was formerly #5,650.
The introduction of the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund on the inquiry into the new admission policy of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) brought about the resolution.
The Senators also made amendments on the period of validity which has been extended to 3 which is currently a year and also that change of Institution, course form and other incidental activities around the examination should be made free.
